★ Are we really surprised. This is just the natural progression in the “Rick-Rolling” phenomenon. If you pay attention you can see this trend all over the internets.

  13. I bought it when the price came into my range. Had it a month, still marvelling about netbooks
and how practical they are when they work well, which Samsung’s does.
The finger pad isn’t easy to use, at least for me, but I use a mini-mouse as preference anyway…
the only sorrow is that I have to carry the mouse in a little side pouch (no big deal).
I went to two gigs of RAM immediately…just to have it working at the top, probably
not all that necessary, but fun to use this tiny thing like a standard computer.
Pink is tasteful, even for guys…
Battery life is wonderful, screen is bright not glarey, keyboard a good size (a plus),
fun to read from my lap (download Gutenberg texts), does what I need,a pleasure to carry,
have added on when I want good sound, plugged in external dvd for kicks…keepin’ it simple

  14. I had a hard time deciding between this Macbook and a PowerBook 15′. In the end I opted for the smaller MacBook. I travel quite often overseas. I like to keep my carry-on luggage as light as possible, so every pound counts for me. The lack of Firewire also kept me on the fence for a while. One other factor was the screen. I have read a lot of reviews in which people are not satisfied with the screen. If possible visit an Apple Store or check out a friends MacBook to decide for yourself. For my purposes, mainly internet, word processing, and spreadsheets, the MacBook’s processor is more than capable. I’ve found that it rips and burns DVDs approximately 3 times faster than my Deskptop (Mac G5 Dual 2.3GHz).

I am extremely happy with my MacBook as my second computer. However if I were going to choose a Mac laptop as my primary computer, I’d likely go with a MacBook Pro 15′…mainly for the better screen.

  15. good one
